Extron Electronics is pleased to introduce the DDX 102 Dual Link DVI Fiber Optic Extender, an efficient transmitter and receiver set for long haul delivery of DVI signals over fiber optic cabling. It uses all digital technology to deliver perfect pixel-for-pixel transmission of video images up to 2560x1600, including HDTV 1080p/60. The extender delivers dual link DVI-D signals up to 500 meters (1,640 feet) over two multimode cables or single link DVI signals over one fiber optic cable.

Extron Electronics is pleased to introduce the new Extender Plus VGA and Audio Line Driver with EDID Minder®. This one input, one buffered output line driver extends VGA-QXGA and HDTV component video along with audio signals up to 250 feet (75 m). Unbalanced computer stereo audio is converted to balanced, line level stereo audio to eliminate noise usually associated with unbalanced audio when distributed over long cable runs.

Extron Electronics is pleased to introduce the SW2 DP two input DisplayPort switcher, and the DP DA2 two output DisplayPort distribution amplifier. They are HDCP compliant, and support data rates up to 10.8 Gbps and computer resolutions up to 2560x1600 @ 60 Hz, including HDTV 1080p/60. The SW2 DP and DP DA2 feature EDID Minder®, an Extron-exclusive technology, which maintains continuous EDID communication between connected devices for reliable video content display.

Extron is pleased to announce the addition of three new models to the Retractor series, a cable retraction system for Extron Cable Cubby series cable access enclosures. The Retractor provides a discreet, convenient solution for accessing AV cable connections and then storing them effectively. New models include the Retractor VGA-A, which combines VGA and 3.5mm stereo audio in a single Retractor module, providing a cost-effective option for VGA and audio source connectivity.

Extron Electronics is pleased to announce the immediate availability of the DVS 605, a high performance video scaler that includes three HDMI inputs, two universal analog video inputs with auto-format detection, and simultaneous HDMI and analog high resolution outputs. The DVS 605 accepts a wide variety of video formats including HDMI with HDCP, HDTV, RGB, and standard definition video. It features advanced Extron video signal processing with 1080i deinterlacing, Deep Color processing, and true seamless switching for professional-quality presentations.

Extron Electronics is pleased to introduce the HDMI DA2, a one input, two output distribution amplifier for HDMI video and embedded multi-channel digital audio. The HDMI DA2 supports HDMI specification features including data rates up to 6.75 Gbps, Deep Color up to 12-bit, 3D, Lip Sync, and HD lossless audio formats. This HDCP-compliant distribution amplifier supports all HDTV rates including 1080p/60 and PC resolutions up to 1920x1200.

Extron Electronics is pleased to introduce the FOX AEX 108, an eight-port fiber optic audio extractor for independent processing and routing of audio signals in a fiber optic AV distribution system. Each port accepts signals from a FOX Series transmitter to extract a two-channel analog audio signal for processing, and then re-transmits the original signal to a FOX Series receiver. To simplify integration with mixers, DSP devices, and audio amplifiers, the FOX AEX 108 provides both balanced and unbalanced stereo.
